The finance challenge

The finance department is a key element in terms of understanding and managing any business. As the business grows, diversifies or undertakes major business projects, the complexity and underlying workloads will also grow. This often increases at a quicker rate than the number of underlying resources.

Whether as a result of on going business development or short term staff turnover there is often a challenge of meeting and supporting competing business priorities and ensuring the core areas of financial management and control are maintained.
