People and skills development is a fundamental part of any business if it is to continue to grow and succeed. As the business changes the underlying skill base will also need to change.

Successful businesses are likely to work in a number of multi functional teams and for these teams to be effective it is important that everyone has the broad base of technical skills to maximise their contribution. 

However, for senior management it may not be effective or practical to learn these skills through open courses where it is difficult to introduce learning back to the work place.
